About Me

About Me

I am honored to work with individuals and couples as a therapist.  I also coach professionals looking for change.  I was drawn to this work because of the positive impact it has had in my own life and because of the fulfillment that comes from working with clients on issues important to their health and happiness.

I bring a wide variety of life experiences to my practice and enjoy working with people from all walks of life.  Prior to becoming a therapist and coach, I also had long and rewarding careers both as a practicing lawyer and in the performing arts.  If you're interested in learning more about any of my counseling services, I invite you connect anytime to talk more about it.

I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California and work with therapy clients from all walks of life on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues or just feeling stuck in life.  In addition to working with individuals, I also work with couples and am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

My approach is collaborative and conversational. One of my primary goals is to create a comfortable, supportive space for us to work together on whatever life may be throwing your way.

Coaching

I work as a coach with clients contemplating significant changes in their personal or professional lives.    Exploring different perspectives on challenges and goals can often illuminate new opportunities for leading a richer, more fulfilling life.  My main goals as a coach are to work collaboratively with you to identify your core values you can lean on to confidently make important life decisions and then support your action plan to implement them.

I have been trained through the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and am excited to work with people from all walks of life on any transition, challenge or goal that feels important.  Additionally, I bring almost 20 years of professional, corporate experience to the table to support those who may be reimagining their career trajectory or dealing with other professional challenges.   If you’re a lawyer or other professional who’s not as fulfilled as you’d hoped, I’ve walked in your shoes and would love to work with you.  I also have an extensive performing arts background and enjoy working with creative people.
